Missions

The Missions Team is one way Parkwooders can actively participate in God's work around the world. We meet together monthly to plan overseas trips, coordinate support for overseas workers, and brainstorm ideas to educate the church at large about domestic and international Christian missions.

From the outset, Parkwood has dedicated 10% of its total budget for missions, and began its financial support with domestic ministries. We currently support three InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Staff Workers: Jeanette Yep, Henry Lee, and Greg Jao. Recently for the past few summers, our congregation has supported several short term missionaries to places like Ecuador, Taiwan, Thailand, and China. Parkwood also supports long-term missionaries to teach English in Ecuador (Yonchu Song) and help with medical training in Central Asia (the Shim family).
